Onions Stuttgarter riesen A classic onion variety. Can be grown from seedlings (grown within 100 days of planting) and from seeds (grown within 130-145 days of sowing). The bulbs are flat round, have a semi-spicy flavor and weigh about 60-70 g. Variety is suitable for winter storage. Onions grow best in water-permeable, humus-rich loam or sandy loam, growing well after cereals, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots.
