Peter Pepper Red Chili (also called Penis Chili) comes from the USA and is an unusual variety with a very original appearance. The spicy peppers are a real eye-catcher on the plate. They are a popular variety for pickling in schnapps or vinegar, and their shape always draws some surprised looks.

The unmistakable fruits (some more obvious than others) ripen from green to red, reaching sizes of about 1.5 to 2.5 inches. 2.5 x 10 - 15 cm. Chili plants have many branches and are bushy. The taste has a fruity peppery note with an intense spiciness. They go well with all kinds of spicy dishes.

Care: The germination temperature is between 22 and 28°C (8-20 days germination time), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need healthy, well-fertilized, permeable soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
