Description

Worth growing, good beetroot. It is round and dark red throughout. Suitable as a primer and for pickling. Do not sow too early, if it is exposed to frost it may flower and the harvest will be lost. Sowing: Sow in May-Midsummer. If you soak the seeds a few hours before sowing, they will germinate faster. Thrives in nutrient-rich, loamy and moisture-retentive soil.
