Description
This classic and fantastically beautiful park rhododendron with its very small and violet bell-shaped flower clusters sitting in dense semi-formed clusters. The beautiful clusters are surrounded by leathery single evergreen leaves that intensify the flower color. The variety is tall and wide-growing and has a magnificent showy bloom in June. The variety requires loose and peaty acidic soil to thrive and for best development place in walking shade, this promotes both flowering and root development. The magnificent flowering and growth of the Park Rhododendron requires plastic to be highlighted, so why not plant it as a solitary plant in leafy parts of the garden by the house front or next to taller noble trees.
