Tomato Purple Calabash is a very rare and unusual variety that resembles the historic tomatoes of the 17th century. It develops beautiful, large, brown to violet, ribbed beefsteak tomatoes that can weigh up to 200g and are very eye-catching in the garden. They develop an unmistakable sweet-spicy taste. The up to 2 meters high plants give very high yields, so the branches should be well supported. This variety is resistant to powdery mildew and brown rot.
