Tomat noire de crimee is an early, tall tomato variety that produces fruit weighing 150-170 grams.
The variety is appreciated for very tasty fruits, with unusual color. Dark fruits contain much more lycopene than red ones.
Seeds are sown in March. For the seeds to germinate quickly and uniformly, the seedlings should be covered with glass or film. Soil temperature should not be below +21-26 °C, room temperature should be at least +23 °C.
When the seedlings develop 2-4 true leaves, they are planted one by one. The plants can be placed outdoors, when there is no longer a risk of frost. Tomatoes are not demanding in terms of soil, but grow best in clay soil.
A diet containing tomatoes is thought to reduce the risk of developing cancer and heart disease. 0.1 gram contains 20-30 seeds. 0.1 grams of seeds are enough for 6-8m2, rich harvest, 35-50 kg, can be expected in favorable growing conditions.
