Tomato Cuore di Bue (ox heart) is an old Italian variety of beefsteak tomato. The up to 500 g, strongly ribbed, fleshy, bright red fruits have a very thin skin and are therefore not easy to store and not suitable for transportation. Taste-wise, however, it is one of the best Italian beefsteak tomatoes and is often eaten when raw and still bright green in color. It is also very suitable for cooking, especially for Italian dishes. The plants are very strong and consistently produce these unmistakable and delicious tomatoes.
