A wonderfully large and sun-loving plant. There is normal sweet corn and super sweet corn. The varieties should not be mixed but should be grown at least 100 m apart. This variety produces super sweet, high quality cobs. The pistons will be about 20 cm long. Pick off the side shoots from the base of the plant for a better harvest. At harvest, the thin 'straws' at the end of the cob should have withered, the cob should be thick and firm. Thrives in warm sheltered locations, needs plenty of water and fertilizer.
