Easy-to-grow vegetable that harvests quickly. Suitable for growing between other vegetables such as cabbage, cucumber and squash. Has time to be ready to harvest before the other vegetables spread. Preferably sow in batches to have access to fresh radishes for a long time. Thrives best in loose moisture-containing soil. Water abundantly. Cover the seedling with non-woven fabric to avoid early insect attacks on the seedlings. Sow 5-10 seeds/dm in sick-sack in a wide row and no thinning is needed.
