Sallat Zwart duits Butterhead-type salad. Heads are medium-sized, open, with crisp, mild-tasting leaves. Grow within 65 days of seed germination. Should be planted as seedlings or sown directly into the soil. Later ones should be thinned by keeping sufficient distance between the plants. Seedlings can be grown in greenhouses or outdoors. Seedlings should be transplanted to beds when the plant has 5-6 true leaves. Grows best in loose, fertile soil.
