Kale Nero di Toscana is an early variety, also called "black palm" for its appearance. The plant grows up to 90 cm high. The leaves are dark green, ornamental, their structure is similar to savoy cabbage leaves. Used fresh, for soups and can decorate not only food, but also the discount. Plants are resistant to cold. The frost encourages the accumulation of sugar in the leaves, so after frost the leaves take on a specific mild sweetish flavor.
