Carrot Nantes 5 is a medium-early variety, grown for summer and fall harvest. Harvested after 90-100 days after germination of seeds, the first harvest can begin after 55-60 days. Roots are common, blunt-ended. Very popular variety, used for fresh consumption, processing and storage. Grow best in well-cultivated, not moist loamy or sandy loam soil. Seeds can be treated.
