Cauliflower Erfurt A cauliflower that produces an abundant harvest of large and beautifully white heads. Good both raw and cooked. Non-woven fabric protects against insect infestation.
Propagation: 4-6 weeks before planting. Sow on moist seedbed, cover thinly with soil. Keep moist and keep warm, about 22°C. After emergence, bright and cooler. Use extra lighting for early sowing. When the plants are big enough to handle, put 1 plant per pot in fertilized soil. Harden off before transplanting.
Direct seeding: Can be direct seeded when soil temp. is at least +5°C, but pre-breeding is recommended.
