A very early variety of broad bean. Produces green pods that grow over the leaves. Harvest often, tastes best when pods are about 18 cm long. Good cooked with butter, for example. Can be frozen, slightly pre-cooked. Thrives in well-drained, loamy, moisture-retentive soil in a sheltered position. Water abundantly.
