Broad bean Mistik are easy to pick with purple pods developing above the foliage. Eat them cooked or pre-cook and freeze. Harvest as you go, about 14 cm is fine. Pre-cultivation 2-3 weeks before planting. Sow 1 seed per pot. Direct sowing when soil temp. is 15 °C. Rinse the seeds thoroughly before sowing. Water in the seed furrow. Then keep moist. Feel free to cover with non-woven fabric.
