Artichoke Vert de Provence is a delicious delicacy. Harvest when the tips of the scales turn outwards. Boil in lightly salted water and enjoy the fleshy base of the scales, the flower base and the part above, the heart, with melted butter and a squeeze of lemon. Propagation: Sow in moist soil, set at 18-20°C. Transplant to 1 plant/pot. Take care of the roots. Store in a bright, cool place, 12-18°C. Plant out after frost.
