Tomato ‘Roselady’ H – juicy and flavourful pink hybrid for garden and greenhouse
Tomato ‘Roselady’ H is a medium-early hybrid that produces abundant clusters of beautiful pink fruits with a mild, balanced flavour. The tomatoes weigh around 150–160 grams each and have a juicy yet firm texture, making them perfect for salads, sandwiches, and fresh eating. This variety is loved for its natural sweetness and refined aroma – an excellent choice for growers who value taste above all.
The plant reaches about 1 to 1.2 meters in height, with a compact but vigorous growth habit. It thrives both in greenhouses and in protected outdoor spots. Each truss produces 5–6 fruits, ensuring a steady and generous harvest throughout the summer.
Sow seeds indoors in March in a warm and bright environment. Germination occurs best at 21–26 °C. Once seedlings have developed their first true leaves, transplant them into individual pots and grow them on until they are ready to be planted outside after the danger of frost has passed. Space the plants approximately 60 × 40 cm apart.
‘Roselady’ H prefers nutrient-rich, well-drained soil and requires regular watering, especially during flowering and fruiting. For best results, pinch off side shoots and lightly top the plants to encourage strong, productive growth.
Harvest typically begins in June and continues well into August. The fruits’ soft pink color and mild, sweet flavour distinguish them from traditional red tomatoes – delicate, aromatic, and refreshing.
Tomato ‘Roselady’ H is a reliable, productive, and delicious hybrid that combines elegance with excellent flavour. Perfect for both beginners and experienced gardeners, it brings a touch of Mediterranean charm to every harvest.
