The Ribisel tomato is a wild type of tomato that produces countless small and very flavorful red tomatoes. 'Ribisel' means 'redcurrant' in Austrian and the fruits, which are approx. 1-1.5 cm in size, similar to this. They are suitable for eating directly from the bush and used as a spot of color in salads. The plants become bushy and do not need tying. They are also tolerant of rot and brown rot.
