Tomato Marglobe is an old American variety of fence tomato that is very strong growing and high yielding. The fruits are medium-sized, red and round and have an excellent taste. Because tomatoes are both fleshy and firm, they are suitable for many uses, whether raw, in salads or in sauces. The fruit ripening period begins in July and the plants then produce tomatoes continuously until well into September. The plants grow up to 150 cm tall, resilient and robust - so good for growing outdoors - and are well tolerant of some side branches being left.
