Tomato Corazon de Buey (ox heart) is the Spanish version of the popular Italian beefsteak tomato 'Cuore die Bue'. They can weigh up to 500 g. The tomatoes are fleshy, bright red, have small seed chambers and a very thin skin and are therefore not easy to store and not suitable for transportation. But their outstandingly delicious flavor is absolutely worth growing them. Their deliciously rich flavor is sweet with a good acid/sugar balance, perfect for caprese, but also for pasta sauces.
