Tomato Auriga was widespread and very popular in the former East Germany. Its medium-sized tomatoes are eye-catching in their warm, bright orange and sit on 8-10 fruits on a panicle. The tomatoes have a fruity sweet taste and an almost creamy texture. They do not have a very long shelf life and should be used quickly. It therefore goes particularly well with summer salads. The plants are well suited for outdoor cultivation and are easy to grow.
