Squash Emperol F1 is a nice variety with a light green skin. Harvest the fruits 15-20 cm long. Used as a cucumber, in stews or pickling. The large leaves easily smother the weeds. Sheltered, sunny spot in loamy, well-fertilized soil. Water abundantly. Direct seeding in hot locations. Pre-breeding is recommended.

Propagation: 3-4v before planting out after the last frost. Sow 1 seed/pot in fertilized soil. Keep warm for germination 18-24°C. After a couple of weeks, transplant to a larger pot. Take care of the roots! Place the plants in a bright location.

Direct seeding: When the soil is 15°C. Water the seed furrow before sowing. Keep the seedbed moist. Cover with non-woven fabric until the plants start to flower.
