Everything you need for your cultivation
A gluten-free and nutritious herb native to South America. Easy to grow but somewhat frost-sensitive at the time of flowering. Drought-resistant. Harvest when the seeds look well developed, allow to dry and shake out the seeds. This variety has a low saponin content. Rinse the seeds thoroughly before boiling and using them in e.g.. salads and steaks. Thrives best in a nutritious, loose, moisture retentive and well-drained soil. Water in case of drought.
Direct seeding: Water the seed furrow before sowing. Keep moist. The soil should be 7-8°C or warmer.
