A peony poppy with large, full flowers in a gorgeous deep violet colour. Looks neat in annual flowerbeds and as an accent with perennials. Very pretty cut flowers, picked when the bud is just about to open. The developed but still green seed pod can be preserved for everlasting flower arrangements. Sow in autumn for earlier flowering, and in spring for a prolonged blossoming. Thrives in most well-drained soils. Water during drought.
