Grows up to 1.5 m high, but is still robust and flexible. Has violet flowers that sway elegantly at the top of the stems. Beautiful between lower perennials or in group with many plants a larger area. Can be a challenge to propagate by seed, but all the more rewarding when you succeed. Can advantageously be placed in a cool place after sowing for 2-3 weeks. For a more bushy form, the plant can be top-cut after planting. Self-sufficiency. Place in a sunny location in porous, not too moist soil. Keep the soil moist after sowing until germination has started.
