Rice Annual 60 cm flowers. The flowers are small, in bright clusters. Grow well in a sunny, warm place, in loose, water-permeable, fertile soil. Basketgrass should be watered with salt water. Indispensable for dry flower bouquets, keeps the color when dried. Seeds are sown to boxed seedlings replanted to the open field in May. Statice is resistant to short-term frost.
