The plant has a bushy shape that fills up nicely in a bed, window box or pot. The flowers are round and have colors in shades of red, white and purple. If the plant receives warmth and sun, it will bloom with lots of flowers well into late summer. The flowers are well suited for drying. Thrives in sandy, porous and nutritious topsoil. The seeds are pressed into the soil and lightly covered with soil. After sowing, the soil is kept moist until germination has started properly.
