Spindly, upright plant that produces a variety of beautiful, fragrant, blue-purple flowers. Loved by insects, bees and butterflies. Thrives in sun to partial shade in dry, poor soil, preferably sandy. If you remove the withered flowers, the flowering period is incredibly long. The seeds are small and should be mixed with sand before being sown very thinly. The seeds require a cold period to start germinating. After sowing, the soil is kept moist until germination has started properly.
