Perennial, urban green, fragrant climbing plant.
Has up to 10 cm large, white and strongly scented flowers, which open in the evening and close again the next morning. Can be overwintered light at min. 10 degrees or grown all year round indoors. Ideal in a large pot on the terrace/balcony. The seeds should be soaked in lukewarm water before sowing. Thrives in sunny conditions in porous, nutrient-rich soil. High demand for water during the summer period. Does not tolerate standing water. Requires support. Keep the soil moist after sowing until germination has started.
