Beautiful bluebell with a multitude of bells along a firm and upright stem. The bells are on short stalks close to the stem. The colors are bright and clean in white, pink and deep blue. St. Mary's bell is a biennial, but is happy to stay in the garden, as it seeds itself. Flowers the year after sowing. Very durable and beautiful in bouquets. Undemanding plant that thrives in most soils, preferably a loose, loamy soil. Water in case of drought.
