Black Pearl seeds

The Black Pearl chili is a very beautiful ornamental chili with leaves that change color in bright sunlight from dark purple to almost black.
On the plants, violet leaves develop, from which many small, berry-shaped, upright-growing chillies develop, maturing from green to black to red. The plants remain compact and small and are therefore suitable for growing in pots on the balcony or windowsill.
Ornamental chillies can be eaten. They are very spicy, have a slight peppery flavor and are suitable for cooking and drying.

Grow Black pearl chili

The germination temperature is between 21 and 28°C (8-21 days germination time), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need healthy, well-fertilized, permeable soil and cannot tolerate standing in water. They should be planted in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
