Rainforest Chili originates from Brazil and belongs to the Capsicumbaccatum family, which is why it is relatively large with a clearly branched plant form and is very fertile. The plant is typical of its species and has white flowers with a yellow pattern; this is where the drop-shaped fruits, which are about 3-5 cm in size, begin to grow and ripen from green to orange and then to bright red. It has a fruity, aromatic taste with a hint of citrus. We think the Rainforest Chili is a bit like the habanero pepper in terms of shape and flavor, although not quite as hot - it's certainly a very interesting variety to grow at home.
