The Carbonero chili is a cross between a Bhut Carbon and a Habanero and is correspondingly hot with a deliciously fruity flavor. The plants grow bushy and firm and are very productive. The chilies are elongated like a Bhut Jolokia, but with a smooth skin and ripen to a warm orange color. They have the typical Bhut Jolokia flavor with a sweet and fruity note. They are excellent for making hot sauce or a great chili powder.
