Tomatoes that are easy to grow by a window, in greenhouses or outdoors in sheltered areas. Begin harvesting approximately 3 months after sowing. Do not remove the shoots in the leaf folds, known as ‘suckers’. Start seeds in seed compost indoors, with grow lights. Leave to germinate at room temperature. Then move to a cooler location. Transplant one per pot of fertilised soil when the plants can be handled.
