Delicious and very early water melon with red meat and a green rind. The fruits grow to 2-3 kg in weight. Close relative of other melons but with a more lobed and less bushy foliage. Grown in greenhouse or hotbed frame. Thrives in loose, fertile soil. Does not tolerate drought. Pollinate the swollen female flowers manually. Take pollen from the male flowers with a small brush. Only let a few fruits/plant remain.
