Watermelon charleston grey is an early watermelon variety, resistant to anthracnose and fusariosis. Ripens after 85-100 days. Fruits are elongated and weigh up to 15 kg. The meat is bright red, crisp and sweet. Grown in greenhouses and outdoors. Watermelons need little water. In case of prolonged draughts, plants can be watered so that they do not dry out. Not only the roots but also the leaves should be watered early in the morning.
