A well-tasting berry grown in green houses or in a sheltered spot. The physalis are ca 2 cm large, enclosed in a papery husk. Eaten fresh or used in pies and marmalade. Grown in pots or directly in the soil. Thrives in fertile, well-drained and water-retaining soil. Water regularly. Might need binding. Harvest when the berries turn a golden orange an ripen them indoors before eating.
