Perennial. In taste and appearance similar to wild strawberries but with larger berries. Produces abundant fruit all summer to late fall. The plants do not tear. Sowing: Indoors in Feb-April for planting out in June. Sow the seed on a moist soil surface. Place in a dark place for germination. Cover with plastic, glass or very thinly with soil. Grows slowly. After emergence, place in a light and cool place. Thrives on loose soil.
