Everything you need for your cultivation
Aji Umba Yellow or Ajumba is a large Habanero variety from Suriname in South America. The plants are strong and productive and Habaneros are extremely hot with a wonderful fruity typical Habanero flavor. They are excellent for seasoning food, making hot sauces and a flavorful chili powder.
Habanero varieties are thought to have originated in the Yucatan region of Mexico. Although the name 'habanero' can be translated as 'someone or something from Havana', the plant only grows in isolation on the island of Cuba. Even today, it is mainly grown on the Yucatan Peninsula, but it is mainly orange and yellow habanero varieties that are grown here. The red variety usually comes from the Caribbean or the southern states of the USA.
