Everything you need for your cultivation
Carolina Reaper Yellow is the yellow version of the world's hottest chili.
In 2013, the Carolina Reaper entered the Guinness World Record as the world's hottest chili.
With a maximum value of 2,200,000 Scoville, this chili is no joke.
They have an aromatic fruity-sweet taste with notes of chocolate-cherry, a hint of citrus and of course they are extremely strong.
Growing the chilli
The germination temperature should be between 24°C and 30°C (germination period: 10-20 days). We therefore recommend using a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need healthy, well-fertilized, permeable soil and cannot tolerate being waterlogged.
Carolina reaper should be planted in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Since the plants have a long ripening period, it is recommended to grow them in a pot, so that you can easily bring the plant inside when the temperature drops below 12°C during the day, allowing all the fruits to ripen. To keep the plant over the winter, cut it down by 20 cm after harvesting and place it in a bright place where the temperature is at least 15°C.
Warning for strength
Always wear gloves when handling chili peppers. Keep out of reach of children and people with spice intolerance.
