Sunflower Wild mixture
Sunflower Wilde mixture is a lovely sunflower mixture in different heights and colors. Can be used as a screen, planted against a house wall or wall. Lovely in the flower bed and magnificent for cutting. The plants need support. Save the seed stands for the small birds. Thrives best in a nutrient-rich soil but is undemanding.
Sunflower “Ruby” F1
The popular sunflower in a new form: Large, deep ruby red flowers that attract attention. Thrives in well-drained soil. The buds taste good lightly cooked with butter, even the seeds can be eaten. Nice cut flower and a focal point in the garden.
Sunflower “Sungold”
Low sunflower that is excellent in flower beds and as a boundary to e.g. vegetable gardens. The flowers are golden yellow and fully double, very decorative in a vase. When topped, the plant becomes bushier and produces 6-7 flowers on each plant. Undemanding, but grows better if given water and fertilizer during the summer.
Ice cream sunflower
This is a different species of sunflower that has fewer flowers, but flowers abundantly and branches more than the classic sunflower. This variety has light vanilla/lemon yellow flowers with a very dark center. Lovely in the border and excellent for cutting. Thrives in nutritious soil but is undemanding. Support the plants.
