Oregano

Perennial, winter hardy.
An indispensable spice in southern cuisine. Shoots and leaves can be harvested continuously. Works well in pots and patio boxes. Requires light to germinate – seeds must not be covered with soil. Place in a sunny location. Thrives in humus-rich soil. Keep the soil moist after sowing until germination has started.
