German Winter thyme is a Swedish-grown seed. Easy to grow, evergreen herb with small, dark green, aromatic leaves. Blooms beautifully in pink-purple, attracting bees and other insects. Resistant to drought. The leaves are used fresh or dried in cooking. Harvest as you go. For drying, whole twigs are picked before the plant flowers. Thrives in loose, preferably lean soil but undemanding.

Propagation: Sow sparsely on moist seedbed. Keep moist. Place in a bright room temperature. After emergence, transplant the plants to single/multiple pots with sandy soil, place in a bright and cool place.

Direct sowing: Water in the seed furrow before sowing. Keep the seedbed moist. So shallow.
